What is the Parent Advisory Council (PAC)?
At Edwin S. Richards Elementary School, the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of parents and guardians who work together with the school community to support and enhance the educational experience of all students.
Every parent or guardian of a child registered at ESR is automatically a member of PAC! Whether you’re able to attend every meeting or just help out once in a while, when or if you can, your involvement is valued and appreciated.
What Does PAC Do? PAC plays an important role in our school by:
● Organizing fun events and activities for students and families
● Fundraising for school resources, field trips, and special programs
● Supporting teachers and staff with volunteer help and appreciation initiatives
● Sharing feedback and ideas with school administration
● Building a stronger sense of community among families
● How Can You Get Involved? There are many ways to be part of the PAC, including:
● Attending monthly PAC meetings
● Volunteering at events or helping behind the scenes
● Sharing your ideas and suggestions
● Joining a committee or helping with planning
● Supporting fundraisers and community activities
Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours to give, there’s a place for you!
