The Pac Newsletter is here to keep you up to date on all Pac Events and Fundraisers, Volunteer opportunities and more.

2024 is ending and what a great start to the 2024/2025 school year. This Newsletter has a lot of “thank yous” and that is because we really appreciate this wonderful ESR community. Volunteers are an essential part of our team.

Volunteering in class, on Field trips, Home reading book exchanges, Hot lunch deliveries, Fundraising or

Special events, we truly appreciate it.

Thank you to all volunteers and to all our parents for their support.

Updates

Candle Light Parade.

Edwin S Richard's Won Best Youth Entry !!!!

Thank you to Urban valley transport for generously offering to provide the float and driver, the hay for sitting on, securing rain cover and dismantling after the parade.

Big Thank you to the group of parent Volunteers. Melanie Walters, Alex Strozek and Krystal Ensing. It took over 6 hours to move the hay, cut the wood, hang the lights and set up all the decorations.

Our Theme of a Christmas eve Pajamas, milk and cookies in the living room, Sing along was a big hit. The Children did an amazing job waving and singing the whole way. Showing Amazing Christmas spirit.

An award was presented from The mission regional chamber of commerce and will be displayed in the trophy case.

Well done everyone.

Christmas Store

The Christmas store was a great success. We had lots of gifts for children to choose from. Our volunteers wrapped over 700 gifts. Thank You to all our wrappers and to everyone that donated items.

A very BIG Thank you to those of you who were helping out daily over the last couple of months. Sorting, cleaning and grouping items together. Counting all gifts and most importantly transferring out of storage into the temporary storage and then into the library and then packing up all left over items for next year. Crystal Bachert and Krystal Ensing, Stephanie Scott, Dev Scott, Alex Strozek Thank you for all your hard work.

Winter Wonderland.

What a Wonderful Winter Wonderland. The students had a great time playing gaming in our decorated gym, Was a really fun day watching students of all ages enjoy their time in the winter wonderland. All Students received a class photo and a cup of Hot chocolate.

Thank you to Mrs Robertson for running this fundraiser. $684 was raised for ESR PAC

Purdy’s Chocolatier

Thank you Melanie Walters for Running this Fundraisers and sorting and handing out all of chocolates and goodies. $2082 Was Raised. Thank to everyone that purchased.

50/50 Christmas Concerts

Wow. Thank you to everyone that bought tickets to our Christmas Concert. A total of $842 was raised over the 4 concerts.

Upcoming fundraisers

Winter raffle

Winter Raffle will take place in January. Tickets will be available online and on selected days in the school lobby for parents to purchase.

Cookbook ( recipe due Jan 31st)

ESR PAC is compiling a recipe book to fundraise this school year.

We are needing your tried and true family tested recipes for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Send us your favorite soups, sides, entrees, and desserts to esrcookbook@gmail.com along with the surname you would like to use as recognition with your recipe.

Deadline for accepting recipes is January 31, 2025 however it is best to get recipes in as soon as

possible to help with our layout and design. We hope to have books available for purchase in the Spring.
